Upgrade your 1995–1998 Chevy/GMC OBS climate-control panel with this illuminated billet A/C Control Cover Plate, precision-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum. This version is made for the factory HVAC control unit with 3 rotary knobs and 3 push buttons, including the rear-window defrost button on the left.

  • Finish options: Raw / unfinished or polished aluminum
  • Backlighting options: Natural (no colored filter), red, green, or blue filter gel
  • Graphics: OEM-inspired laser-cut lettering and symbols to allow existing panel illumination through the cover
  • Quantity: One billet A/C control cover plate. Matching billet knobs are sold separately.

Fitment

Designed for 1995–1998 Chevrolet and GMC OBS pickups and SUVs equipped with the matching 3-knob / 3-button climate-control panel. The left-hand rear-defrost button is an important identifier. Some later carryover vehicles may use a compatible panel, but always compare the button arrangement and original faceplate with the product photographs before ordering. This version does not replace the 3-knob / 2-button faceplate.

Installation & Filter Lenses

Remove the factory dashboard trim to access the original A/C control faceplate, then carefully remove the original fascia and test-fit the billet replacement. Verify all knobs and buttons function correctly after assembly.

Colored filter-gel material may be supplied loose to allow additional finishing or adjustment. Remove any protective film from both sides of the filter material before installing it. Handle the material carefully to avoid scratches.
